Steve Leach, CEO of Shoppers' View, is compiling
a book, tentatively titled "Customer
Service that Changed a Business."
Stories will include acts of over-the-top
customer service that resulted in a major
change for the individuals, organizations,
and maybe even the communities involved.
A great example is about a bar on the East Coast. A bartender noticed
a couple of patrons on a weekday using sign language to communicate.
Thanks to one industrious bartender with the willingness to learn
new things (yes, sign language!), soon the bar was filled with signing
patrons on what used to be a slow weekday.
We would appreciate your submission if you
know of such a story. Please include as
many details as possible. We will verify
as much as possible based on your data and
include submission credits for stories selected
